Men Who Like Men Who Like Movies!

Following up on our interview with Dave Kerr last year about his production company Slasher 15 Films, we have him back today to talk about what's coming up! We discuss his colorful cast of characters in his films Bloody Summer Camp and the upcoming Go Away, horror easter eggs, and what it's like working with horror royalty! We also get into practical effects work, female horror villians, and what it's like behind the scenes to grow as a filmmaker!

Check out www.slasher15.com to see what he's working on over there, and to help out indie horror so we can get the best movie possible with the upcoming Bloody Summer Camp 2!!!

This week we're talking all about the drama to top all dramas, Closer from 2004, with returning special guest Jaylan Salah! We get into the dirty messaging, the razor sharp script, and how Clayton based his entire personality off of Natalie Portman in this film! We also discuss how this is secretly a homoerotic love story, our differing reads of the film, and how much we all love watching people be absolutely awful to each other!

It's the month of love, so we're starting you off with a classic romance - An Affair to Remember all the way back from 1957! We had to have our guest from Sleepless in Seattle back for this one, and thankfully, Kevin Uhrich was up for the task! We talk about the screen legends of Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr and their insane chemistry, along with transatlantic accents, sexy banter, and those musical numbers!

You didn't think you were getting out of more Schmigadoon content, did you? We're doing it again, and talking with the Tony Award winning choreographer Christopher Gattelli! We chatted with him about what it was like to work on something like Schmigadoon, what numbers he had the most fun doing, what some of his inspirations were going into it, and yes, of course we talked with him about working with Timothee Chalamet on Wonka!

We're talking Tarantino again this week on the pod and covering the 1994 classic Pulp Fiction! We get into the prices of milkshakes and cigarettes, ass jewelry, and Bruce Willis's dong! We also parse through our feelings about Fabienne, massages, and the randomness of the universe - so wake up your gimp, get your ball gag, and make sure you don't mix up your hard drugs or you'll miss out on what this fun episode has in store!

To start us off with a "New Year, New You" film, we're talking with friend of the pod Bre Evola about the much maligned Stepford Wives remake from 2004. We get into the infamously troubled production, the glaring plot holes and inconsistencies, and the limitations of a robot wife's cleaning capabilities. We also discuss Glenn Close being I-C-O-N-I-C, amazing fake book titles, and Faith Hill's fake orgasm!
