Cs: Slabý vítr se proháněl ulicemi Prahy, kde sníh lehce přikryl střešní tašky a lucerny.
En: A gentle wind swept through the streets of Praha, where snow lightly covered the roof tiles and lanterns.

Cs: Jaroslav otevřel dveře do kavárny se zvonkem na dveřích, který oznamoval jeho příjezd.
En: Jaroslav opened the door to the café, the bell announcing his arrival.

Cs: V místnosti bylo teplo a vonělo to po čerstvě pražené kávě.
En: The room was warm and smelled of freshly roasted coffee.

Cs: Po rozvodu a všem.

Cs: Myslel jsem, že je lepší, když vás nechám být.
En: I thought it was better to leave you alone.

Cs: Ale asi jsem se spletl.

Cs: "Petra se naklonila blíž.

Cs: "Vždyť jsme tvoje rodina.
