In the evening of August 20, 1989 Jose and Kitty were watching TV in the living room of their beautiful Beverly Hills house, when their two sons, 21 year old, Lyle and 18 year old, Erik Menendez would burst into the home and shoot them both to death in an act that shocked neighbors in this ritzy Beverly Hills neighborhood.
