Join us as we conclude our study of Deuteronomy and consider what it looks like to finish well as a godly leader. Drawing from Moses’ example of faithful leadership, we’re challenged to choose life each day by loving God, obeying His Word, and holding fast to Him. As our lives point to Jesus, let us lean on God’s wisdom, bless those around us, prepare the next generation, and finish the race well.
What does it mean to "choose life"? In Deuteronomy 29–30, we'll discover how our obedience, sin, and faithfulness affect not only our relationship with God but also our community of faith. As we learn that we are made for community, we’re challenged to choose obedience, lean on one another, and trust in God’s promise to restore His people.
In Deuteronomy 27–28, we'll consider the contrast between the fullness of God’s blessing and the emptiness of life apart from Him. Join us as we explore what it means to honor God, keep His Word close to our hearts, and live in a way that reflects His greatness. Ultimately, we’ll be reminded that our hope isn’t in perfect obedience, but in Jesus, who bore the curse for us.
What does it look like to live as God’s people? Join us as we explore Deuteronomy 22–26 and discover how God’s commands shape a people who love Him and love others. From caring for one another and pursuing integrity to honoring marriage and worshipping God, we see that His commands protect His people and form us to reflect His character.
What does it look like to love God and love our neighbors well? In our study of Deuteronomy 16–21, we explore God’s instructions for worship, justice, and the value of human life. These chapters not only remind us that God calls us to love Him. They also show us what that love looks like as we are called to treat others with justice, compassion, and a deep respect for every person made in His image.
What does it look like to love God through careful obedience? As we continue through Deuteronomy 12–15, we’re challenged to seek God’s will, offer our lives to Him, rejoice in His goodness, protect our hearts, show hospitality, care for ourselves, and forgive others. Join us as we consider what it means to give God our hearts, our lives, and our very best.
Let's dive into Deuteronomy 9–11 and consider the choice Moses places before God’s people: blessing or curse, life or death. We’ll reflect on our tendency to forget God’s faithfulness, the grace we receive through Christ, and what it means to faithfully live in the “land” God has given us. From worshipping Jesus to leading our families and sharing the Gospel, we’re reminded that God calls us to live faithfully right where He has placed us.
In Deuteronomy 7–8, we're reminded that God is holy, merciful, faithful, and worthy of our worship. These chapters challenge us to remember who God is, where His blessings come from, and how easily we can forget Him when life is going well. Join us as we look at what it means to live with gratitude, humility, and a heart that remembers the Lord.
What does it look like to live as people who have been redeemed by God? In Deuteronomy 5–6, we’re reminded that God’s commands aren’t simply rules. They show us what it looks like to live in relationship with Him and with one another. Join us as we explore what it means to hear, learn, obey, and love God, as we allow His Word to shape our lives, our relationships, and the way we live in community.
What happens when we start to forget God’s goodness? In Deuteronomy 4, we’re reminded that God’s commands are always for our good, there is no one like Him, and even when our hearts drift, He remains faithful. Let us consider what it looks like to guard our hearts, keep Christ first, and draw near to the God who never forgets us.
