As we look at the word ‘if’ it is very interesting. It is the most vital word in the Bible because it speaks directly to our responsibility to our Creator. Every promise in the Bible had some type of condition and the word ‘if’ spoke to those conditions. Now contingent on our response will determine how much we love Him and our receiving from Him. This calls for a self-examination. We continue to make too many excuses for things God have already ordained for us to do. What or who is keeping you from doing just that! Deal with the roots!
