Chris Dummigan studied Biology at the University of Western Ontario, majoring in biochemistry and genetics. He was fascinated by the applications of modern genomics within the field of agriculture, and went on to do his Master of Science at the University of Guelph. There, he completed a research thesis on beneficial corn microbes, which led to him being recruited by a biotech start-up in California. Chris continues to study plant-microbes, with a focus on product development for agriculture.
