Worship at Good Shepherd on Oct. 9, 2022. The sermon theme and text was “Faith of the Patriarchs” from Hebrews 11:8-22.

Sermon text is Hebrews 11:1-7. Theme is "Walking by Faith, Not by Sight."

The opening words of the Bible, those found in Genesis 1:1, proclaim a foundational truth upon which all of Christianity rests: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."

God will not be mocked. We cannot sow to the sinful longings of our flesh and expect to continue in the faith and go to heaven.

Morning worship at Good Shepherd on Sept. 18, 2022. The sermon is on Hebrews 10.

As Jesus offered living water to the woman at the well in Samaria (John 4:10,13-14), so here He offers it to all who had come to the temple in search of God’s mercy and blessing. And, He offers it to you and to me, as well!

Worship and sermon based on Hebrews 9

What kind of worship does God desire? Should it be with liturgy and organ or with contemporary song and guitar? Should it be in a beautiful church or cathedral or in a steel building or barn? What does God say?

Do we deserve that God would cast us off and take His Holy Spirit from us? Most certainly, for we, like David, are guilty before the LORD!

Jesus was sacrificed once for the sins of the world, so we do not sacrifice Him again and again as an unbloody sacrifice for sin, as does the Church of Rome. Instead, in the Lord's Supper, Christ gives us to partake of His one sacrifice which fully atoned for the sins of all.
