In Epistle to the Hebrews 3:1–6, the writer calls us to "fix our thoughts on Jesus," the apostle and high priest of our confession, and then presents a powerful comparison between Christ and Moses. Moses was faithful in all God's house as a servant, chosen and honored to lead Israel; yet Jesus is counted worthy of greater glory because He is not merely part of the house—He is the builder of it. Moses testified about what was to come, but Christ is the Son over God's house, ruling with divine authority and permanence. Therefore, our confidence must not rest in traditions, leaders, or systems, but in Christ Himself, who is supreme, sovereign, and faithful. And we are His house, if indeed we hold firmly to our courage and the hope in which we boast. Let us, then, lift our eyes above every human example and cling to Jesus, who is greater than Moses and worthy of all our trust and devotion.
