Title: The War Against Christ by the American Government

Subtitle: government

Speaker: Matthew Trewhella

Broadcaster: Mercy Seat Christian Church

Event: Current Events

Date: 7/7/2013

Bible: Psalm 2

Length: 74 min. (32kbps)

Overview: Our government here in America is at war with Christ. It is at war with Christianity. Our Federal government is the culprit that has enacted laws and policies for decades now to remove, repudiate, destroy and decimate all that has to do with Christ and Christianity in our nation, including the sacred and holy institution of marriage. Starting with the recent DOMA ruling by the U. S. Supreme Court, this sermon confirms the awful reality of the war. Sadly, most Christians in America today believe God's law should have nothing to do with the governance of nations. Thus, they have aided and abetted the outcome in our nation. The sermon exposes the grim consequences of Christians removing their faith from the public square and making it a purely private matter. 74 min. MercySeat.net LesserMagistrate.com

Title: The Interposition of the Lesser Magistrates

Subtitle: Government

Speaker: Matthew Trewhella

Broadcaster: Mercy Seat Christian Church

Event: Current Events

Date: 6/2/2013

Bible: Ezekiel 22:27-31

Length: 45 min. (16kbps)

Overview: Interposition is that calling of God which causes one to step into the gap. - willingly placing oneself between the oppressor and his intended victim. This can be done verbally or physically.--The lesser magistrate demonstrates the doctrine of interposition by placing himself between the tyrant or bad law - and the people.----A quote which exemplifies the interposition of the lesser magistrate was actually made by a higher magistrate. Roman Emperor Trajan, upon giving a sword to a subordinate, said to him- -Use this sword against my enemies, if I give righteous commands- but if I give unrighteous commands, use it against me.-----This sermon lays out in a very concise manner this important doctrine that has been lost by the Church - and which loss has resulted in a detriment to nations. 37 min. Title: Christians are Priests of God - DT 9

Subtitle: Deuteronomy

Speaker: Matthew Trewhella

Broadcaster: Mercy Seat Christian Church

Event: Sunday Service

Date: 3/17/2013

Bible: Deuteronomy 9; Exodus 32

Length: 43 min. (16kbps)

Overview: As Christians, we are priests of God. As such, we represent God to man and we represent man to God. If we only represent God to man, then we will become unduly harsh. If we only represent man to God, then we will become compromising. As His priests, we must keep a balance between these two. The story of Moses when he encountered the children of Israel worshiping the golden calf is the best story in Scripture which illustrates the balance. Moses clearly represented man to God - and God to man. 35 min. MercySeat.net
