Dakota is a young and empowered mermaid who created, Heirs to Our Oceans, a non-profit that educates and empowers youth to become leaders in ocean conservation. Not only has Dakota traveled the world talking to others of her generation about the one thing she is passionate about most, the ocean and protecting it, but she has also talked to members of Congress! This mermaid is going places and not just when she gets older but right now!
