What must I do to inherit eternal life? Sounds like a great question to be asked but Jesus says the rich man has it all backwards.

In this final talk, we see how Paul brings the threads of the letter together. He gives instructions for all different members of the church to work together as they trust God to make them wholly holy and wait for the coming our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, and he will do it, for us as he did for the Thessalonians!

This passage follows on from last week about what will happen to those who have died in Christ. We know they will be with Christ when he returns. Paul now anticipates the question of when Christ will return.

One of the big differences the gospel makes to our lives is our view of death and grieving. Here's hope.
