In this episode I talk about taking risks and how scary that is for some people, and for those who a fearful about risks will often pass judgement or criticism. But like Jim Carrey said — 'You can fail at what you don't want, so you might as well take a chance on doing what you love.'

What do you want? Make sure you have a clear idea of that. And there needs to be that understanding that the only person who’s standing in your way is you. Don’t let others influence your wants and desires. If something doesn’t work out try another way. There are endless paths to getting what you want.

In my youth, growing up in a small community and having interest in the arts, set me apart as a black sheep. But it lead me to a realization in understanding my uniqueness and that being the black sheep is empowering.

You build trust when you are kind to others and don't want anything in return. I can think of several instances where I’ve come across people in my life who I’m so grateful for because they’ve helped me without looking for anything in return.

For some it’s not so simple knowing what kind of gravitational pull you have towards something. If you know what your purpose is, you have a huge advantage over those who don’t. And for those who don’t, it starts with believing that you deserve to be happy.
