Today, we explored the theme of "Dancing in the Rain," inspired by the story of Flo Camillo, a woman who faced immense hardships but found joy and peace in her relationship with God. Flo's life was marked by severe abuse and betrayal, leading her to hate anything related to God. However, through persistent love and outreach, she found her way back to the church, was baptized, and became a fervent worshiper. Even when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer, Flo chose to dance in the rain, symbolizing her unwavering faith and joy in the Lord despite her circumstances.
We also discussed the importance of maintaining a positive attitude and a heart of worship regardless of life's challenges. Life is full of troubles, but our response to these troubles can either draw us closer to God or push us away. The story of the Syrophoenician woman who accepted even the crumbs from Jesus' table teaches us to be grateful for whatever blessings we receive, no matter how small they may seem.
Moreover, we touched on the concept of following Jesus without needing to understand every aspect of His plan. Just as a soldier follows orders without questioning, we are called to follow Jesus with trust and obedience. This journey of faith is not about seeking signs and miracles but about steadfastly walking in the path God has laid out for us.
Finally, we emphasized the importance of dreaming and maintaining hope. Even when we feel worn out or incapable, dreaming and envisioning a better future can fuel our faith and keep us moving forward. Life may not always be fair, but God's goodness and grace are constant, and we can find joy and purpose in following Him.
Do you know who you are? You are called of God. He chose you. You have a calling and a purpose. In this message from Pastor Jason Sharp, release your hurt and reclaim your joy.
In his sermon titled "These Boots Were Made for Walking," Rev. John Proctor uses Romans 10:8 to emphasize the wonder working power of the Holy Spirit and our victory over the enemy.
Missionaries Jerry and T Fudala visit from Thailand with a message for Calvary to stir up the gift inside of you.
In this episode, Rev. Earnest Alexander delivers a powerful sermon titled "Do You Know Where the Exit Is?" He begins reading from 1 Corinthians 10:13, emphasizing God's faithfulness in providing a way to escape temptation. Rev. Alexander shares personal anecdotes, including encounters with individuals searching for spiritual guidance, and highlights the importance of being genuine and compassionate in ministry. He calls for us to be proactive in sharing our faith and helping others find their way to God. This episode is a stirring reminder of the power of the Holy Spirit and the urgency of evangelism in today's world.
In this message from Rev. Earnest Alexander II , we are reminded of the profound invitation God extends to each of us to live fully in His Spirit and Word. God is ready to send the rain of His blessings and manifest His presence in unprecedented ways, but we must first remove the obstacles in our lives that hinder His work. We are called to examine what we allow into our spirits, whether it be the music we listen to or the influences we entertain, as these can choke out the seeds God wants to plant in us.
God desires for us to operate in His kingdom, which requires us to be comfortable with being uncomfortable and to humble ourselves. We must not be intoxicated by merely good preaching but be transformed by the Word of God, allowing it to change our lives. The signs of the times, such as eclipses and blood moons, are reminders that Jesus is coming soon, and we must not be desensitized to these signs.
We are called to live in repentance, aligning our lives with God's will, and not be swayed by the comforts of this world. The story of Lot's wife serves as a warning against looking back and being attached to worldly things. We must be real with our families, holding each other accountable and ensuring that we are all operating in the kingdom invitation.
Our words have power, and we must speak life and positivity, arming the angels with our intercessory prayers. To flow in the Spirit, we must die to ourselves and live in radical submission to God. The miracles and wonders we seek will come when we fully embrace the Spirit and the Word, allowing God to operate through us.
In this message, Rev. Nathaniel White discusses the significance of faith and the powerful symbolism of the lamb and the shepherd in the Bible. He points out how a shepherd provides guidance, strengthens the flock, and inspires trust in the plan God has for your life.
In this message from Pastor Jason Sharp, we explored the profound concept of authority and accountability within the Kingdom of God. We began by emphasizing the importance of embracing the entire Word of God, not selectively choosing parts that suit us. The Gospel demands everything from us, and it is through this complete submission that we find true wisdom and strength. Jesus gave His disciples power and authority over all devils and to cure diseases, a gift not given to the masses but to those willing to lay aside their own agendas and serve wholeheartedly.
We delved into the story of Jonah, who was given a message of authority but chose to run from it. His journey illustrated the consequences of fleeing from God's call and the storms that arise when we resist divine authority. Jonah's eventual submission led to the repentance and salvation of an entire city, demonstrating the power of obedience and accountability.
Authority in the Kingdom of God is always balanced with accountability. Just as a young driver must adhere to rules and be accountable for their actions, so must we be accountable for the spiritual authority we are given. This accountability ensures justice, equity, and prevents the misuse of power. We also discussed the importance of mentorship and the need for spiritual fathers and mentors to guide the next generation. True authority comes from being under authority, and it is through submission that we gain the power to overcome the enemy and advance the Kingdom of God.
The message concluded with a call to action for men to rise up, submit to God's authority, and lead their families and communities with integrity and strength. The church is poised for its greatest moments, but it requires every member to be involved, accountable, and united in purpose. The benefits of authority and accountability are a sense of belonging, purpose, and the power to overcome anxiety and loneliness. As we submit to God's authority and the governance of the church, we create a community that is strong, united, and capable of achieving great things for the Kingdom of God.
In this powerful message from Pastor Jason Sharp, we are encouraged to deepen our spiritual lives through fasting, prayer, and wholehearted pursuit of God. Bishop Paul Sharp adds to this message by emphasizing the importance of loving God above all else, using the example of Abraham's journey of faith and sacrifice.
