Our guests at CVC this weekend are Bob and Pam Tebow. Bob has served through Fellowship of Christian Athletes, several churches in Florida, and as missionaries in the Phillipines. Pam speaks by sharing her story in many cities throughout the country. Through their stance on family and life, they has been given a national platform to encourage the pro-life message. They will be sharing why "Every Life Matters".

Lead Pastor Chad Allen brings us into the new year of 2016 by introducing us to the theme for the year; Disciples. Being a disciple of Jesus Christ means not only being a faithful student, but a faithful teacher. We grow so that we can help others grow. 2016 will have an emphasis on discipleship and a call to spiritual growth, not just for our own personal sake but for the sake of others who have come and will come to Christ.

A request of a man named Placide Cappeau from a priest who wanted a special poem for his church's upcoming midnight Christmas Eve service in Roquemaure, France in 1847 led to the writing of "Oh, Holy Night." And here we are almost 170 years later still singing this amazing song that captures the awe we experience when reflecting on the birth of Jesus. Lead Pastor Chad Allen shares from Luke 2:11 as he tells us the story of that night: "For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." The song "Oh Holy Night" has pointed people to understand the meaning of Christmas and that the birth of Jesus turned an ordinary night into a holy night. And the birth of Jesus can turn an ordinary life into a holy life.

Founding Pastor Rick Duncan shares from his heart about loving Jesus during the fourth week of this teaching series. Pastor Rick will share from 1 Peter 1:3-9, as he shows us that when we don't have joy in Jesus, we have lost our first love. Love for Jesus produces joy in Jesus.

Week three of five in the "Love Jesus" teaching series brings us to "The Infinite Glories of Jesus Christ" as taught by Dale Piscura, Pastor of Men's LifeGroups and CVC Elder. Pastor Dale will show us from Colossians 1:15-23 that Jesus is worthy of our worship because of Who He is: Jesus is the visible expression of the invisible God, heir of all creation, the creator, and the purpose for which all things exist.
