The Way of Jesus is countercultural. It is upside down and inside out.

In Sunday’s Gospel, a rich, young man asks Jesus what it takes to attain eternal life. Jesus tells him to rid himself of his possessions. The rich man feels like this is impossible, but Jesus reminds him that nothing is impossible with God.

At this Sunday’s service, we will be putting our focus on Psalm 84, which begins, ‘How lovely is your dwelling place, O God.’ Scripture invites us to make our dwelling place in God, but how exactly do we do that?

The Gospels were written in Greek, but Jesus spoke Aramaic. In recent years, biblical scholars have translated the Gospels into Aramaic, and the teachings of Jesus have taken on deeper meanings. Today Pastor Sal focuses on the Lord’s Prayer in Aramaic.
