Messages from The Garden

Each of us has an expression of worship in our hearts. From musicianship, to hard work, to design, to teaching, to singing etc. When we find our strengths in worship before God we can develop these expressions into art with spiritual discipline. Art in worship is usable by the Holy Spirit to deliver His will and heart to the earth with effortless beauty and power.

Before some of Jesus' greatest signs, miracles and wonders we consistently read in the Gospels Jesus was found praying. It was how He lived His life. Brandy Helton encourages us to see prayer differently as apart of how a Christian lives through their day.

We read in the book of Genesis, God spoke it was not good for man to be alone. We are all created to be connected. Mankind was always supposed to be connected to the everlasting, Almighty God and to each other through Him as a family. Sin separates us from God and His family, but the Bible tells us God sees the solitary and lonely and puts them into families.

In 2 Timothy Chapter 3 we read a list of attributes signaling to Christians the last days of this age will be difficult. As we read the list we recognize we currently are living in many of those worldly attitudes around us. The Lord God is transforming our minds to be empowered through these difficult times. His wisdom is before us, but must be found with eyes of faith. Scornfulness cannot find the wisdom you need for theses times.

As you go along the way in life, the joys and the sorrows, Jesus opens up our understanding of the Bible in how it reveals Himself throughout our lives and our histories.
