Messages from The Garden

The true rod of grace and authority is the Holy Spirit. When we align our heart, mind and emotions to His authority, we break the back of the oppressor. True dominion is what you set your mind, will and heart to do in God's kingdom. Break the rod of the oppressor and use the testimony of Jesus to turn it into God's glory.

Surely goodness and mercy will follow the children of God all the days their life. When we enter into the house of the Lord together, the Lord makes us glad. His presence, His Spirit and His joy transforms our hearts from state of mourning into thanksgiving and praise.

Our heart is a spiritual battleground. We can willingly choose to be captured by idols, but the Lord God is jealous to capture us to His heart. The call for believers is to be captivated by the way and love of God.

The Lord has been encouraging The Garden Gathering Church during our Wednesday night gatherings to "guard our steps and focus" when we enter into the house of the Lord. God wants to see His children grow up and mature with ambition, zeal and diligence. We can be alert and focused on our steps, but God is the one who truly causes the growth.

This message is an exhortation to understand hope. Not an emotion of hanging onto a fleeting feeling, but a measured assurance in God's truths. Hope is a spark of belief, life and faith in our journey with God.

The traumas of this life cannot overwhelm a resurrected Christ. Christ is healed. He suffered, and there are sufferings in Christ to bear as a Christian, but there is the Spirit of Resurrection Power for our mortal bodies today. Those who seek the Lord will lack no good thing. Jesus Christ is the Risen One.

"And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." 2 Corinthians 4:4-6

As believers, we can hear the Lord but not receive His instruction. When we first hear a truth or revelation about God we often don't know what to think about it until we receive God's instruction. Revelation and wisdom come for the Spirit of God. Then this truth becomes glorious and beautiful to us.
