Our significance is a gift given by God through Jesus Christ. Because of this, we do not have to glory in our successes, but can rest secure in Christ, even in the midst of failures.

To be sure, Confirmation is a human invention not commanded by God in His Word. However, this process and rite help us as individuals and as God’s people do a number of things that ARE commanded in God’s Word.

God tells us that regular time in his Word (meditate on it day and night) can change our lives by making us a steady and healthy presence in the world no matter what disaster is around us.
