God is gathering a family that will love him and live with him forever. And the church is his chosen vehicle, his method of choice, for gathering the family. That’s us.

We are God’s workmanship — His masterpiece — God created us, he shaped us, to go good works. Those good works are called your service, your ministry, your blessing.

God loves and he adopts me into his family. Once I’m in God’s family, He wants me to become like His son.

God wants to love us and be loved by us so much that he decided to adopt us into his own family. You were created to be a part of God’s family.

We have been called by God the Father, who loves us. In fact, he has loved us since before the world was created. Our first calling is to be loved by God. It isn’t to serve God, or please God or be holy like God, it’s to be loved by God. He has always loved you and he always will.

You’re busy and the phone rings. You don’t want to take the time, but you answer it anyway, and you find out you’ve just inherited a million dollars and the deadline to claim it is midnight tonight. Wouldn’t you be glad you took the call? What about when God calls? Will you answer?
