Long a tradition in America, many people like to go through everything and give it a polish. But there is another form of cleaning that Christians should regularly undertake: the cleaning up of our relationships with stuff. Sometimes, those idle things are idol things.

Each year, we celebrate Easter. But why? For so many Christians, we have difficulty connecting with the resurrected Jesus. Instead, we are much more likely to connect with Jesus who is described before the cross: The Jesus who was the good teacher, the advocate of those being oppressed, the provider for the poor, or the advocate of pure love. Yet, finding the Jesus of Easter is necessary if we want to conquer the tribulations of life.

Each of us has things that we care about, and each of us pours our heart and energy into responsibilities to see our passions succeed. But, even with the best of our efforts, we have to appreciate that we will likely fail … that is … until our Lord shows up in power. When this happens, what will we do? Continue working, or start worshiping?.

There will always be things that come into our lives that will be fearful. We will have wars, persecutions, trials, and disease. This should never surprise us.

But are we prepared? Do we have what we need? Are we watchful?

Evangelism, or the bringing in of people into the Kingdom of God, is a well known agenda of the church. Actually, it is perhaps the best known, and most emphasized agenda of the church. Most everything we do these days seems to be part of a strategy of evangelism. There's little denial that evangelism is our broad mission on earth … the question, really, is whether or not we are doing it well.

Why is it that we go to church? Is it because of tradition or is it that you receive something fulfilling? God has given us gifts to get through life and deal with the world. We have what it takes to minister to one another.

This message shows how value is what strengthens the other pillars and strengthens our life in Christ. We are to gain value by living vicariously through Christ.

This message shows how relationships are one of the keys to working together to accomplish God's will. There are two types of relationships, Value and Visionary. The relationships in a church are a vision relationships.

This message shows how are wealth or love of "stuff" can interfere with our love in Christ.

This message shows how our body is considered a Jar of Clay. There are three observations: 1. We can't avoid affliction. 2. We are fragile by design. 3. We should focus on the resurrection.
