Christians need to follow Jesus. If you want to follow Jesus, you need to get out of the Christian sandbox.

This new series will talk about change, the Orchard 8 if you will. Today's first change is how you define yourself as a Christian. Do you tell others "I am a Christian". How does this define what you are. Instead of declaring "I am a Christian", how about saying "I will become ...", become what God wants me to be.

During our walk we will encounter trouble and hardships similar to Elijah's wilderness. This wilderness brings death and destruction, but can also be used to bring life and freedom that can bring us closer to God. This message shows that when we are in the wilderness how we can seek the life and freedom to gain a closer relationship with God.

God is rich in mercy and grace, and He will forgive us when we fail Him. Because you can still see God working around you, you have not exhausted God's grace - He is there for you.

But do not take advantage of His grace. Take what God has taught you, and obey Him. Enjoy His blessings!
