Jesus calms the raging sea and calms the raging demons to save his disciples from perishing and to place us in our right mind, so that we would tell the world the great things He has done for us.

We can take courage that the kingdom of God is being revealed, no matter how hidden it may seem, so that we will confidently pursue the glories of Christ.

To those whom Jesus grants eyes and ears, the gospel seed bears fruit despite worldly cares, persecution, and the devil.

Jesus has the strength to bind Satan and plunder his house; to make sinners His family, that we might be with Him and do the will of God.

Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath

Jesus has come to heal sin-sick souls and call them into fellowship with Him in the new covenant He brings.

Jesus calls sinners to repent and believe in Him, as the one who authoritatively heals and forgives our sins.

Jesus who is in deep communion with His Father, has time for all who come to Him; taking their place on the cross and cleansing them from sin completely, by faith in His gospel.

Jesus is the authority of the gospel of the kingdom; muzzling the evil one and calling sinners to repent and follow Him.

We can trust in Jesus who has taken His stand for God and against Satan ��
