A beautiful exchange happens in the blink of an eye, but the exchange would forever live out in the greatest story ever told. Through this exchange, Jesus not only takes the place of a man destined to die on a cross, He takes our place taking on the penalty that we greatly deserved.

We love movies where the good guys are up against insurmountable odds and yet they are committed no matter what the cost. In the movie Taken, we see a father that is desperately trying to save his daughter who has been abducted and sold into the world of sex trafficking. The father will stop at nothing and do whatever it takes to find his baby girl. He is committed! So, the question is… Are we? Are we committed to doing whatever it takes to help those far from God come to LIFE in Christ? This is our challenge as Christians and it is our challenge as a church. We want to be committed to sharing Jesus one relationship at a time. Listen as we make our commitment as a church to live out the great commission.

Everyone has lost something valuable at some point in time in their life. We have all either experienced it or seen it when a parent can’t find a child. That is a panic and fear that is unlike any emotion that we feel in this life. At that very moment the chase ensues and the mission is clear. Now think about how God feels when one of his children is lost? This week at Revive we will continue our “ONE Focus” series and discover another level of God’s love for us and his desire to be in a relationship with ALL of his children.

In every aspect of our lives we are on a journey and have a destination.  Whether it is walking to the kitchen to get something to eat, to the back yard to play with your kids, to the store to restock our pantry, maybe it is on a plane to a far off place we all have a destination.  In an eternal perspective we also have a destination and that will be our final destination.  Listen as we discover the options and learn what it means to be a ONE Focused church.
