Today we jump into Acts 9 and look at what happens when Saul (Paul) has a life-altering encounter with Jesus. From the point of his surrender on, God used Paul as a writer, a teacher, and a shepherd for the early churches in the first century. So what values and truth can we take from this descriptive record from early christendom? When we, like Paul, surrender our lives to Christ and His mission, we become a vessel through which God works powerfully in our own lives and in the lives of those around us. That power, however, is not one of leverage or empty spectacle, but of faith, hope, and love.
