Reconciled - Today, we look at a Christmas story, although you will not think it's a Christmas story at first. As you hear the story, think about any broken relationships in your life, any family members or friends or exes or another person where you need healing, and how reconciliation is possible. Jesus is our Immanuel.

Reconciled - You have a heavenly Father who loves you who, for some reason God only knows, wants to be with you more than he wants anything else. He wants it so much that he sent his only Son Jesus. And if there is anything that separates you from God, this is the day to confess it and get ready for the child in the manger that not only changed the world but is ready to change you.

Reconciled - The early church did not have the New Testament with the Christmas story that we love to tell. What they had was the scripture that explained why they needed what God provided at Christmas. We may not see our own brokenness, but we see a world that is not yet what it could be. Why do you need Christmas? We need what God offers.
