  • Yom T'ruah - The Feast of Trumpets
with Messianic Leader J. Isaac GabizonRosh Hashanah, widely celebrated as a High Holiday in Judaism, is marked by prayers at the Western Wall, the sounding of the shofar, and greetings for a good new year, yet much of its current observance comes from tradition rather than the Torah, which only briefly describes Yom Teruah, the Feast of Trumpets, in Leviticus. While rabbinical Judaism emphasizes judgment, repentance, and the Book of Life, the Scriptures give little explanation, pointing instead to deeper prophetic meaning revealed in the New Testament. There, Yom Teruah is understood as foreshadowing the Rapture—the moment when believers, both dead and living, will be transformed and gathered to the Messiah at the sound of God’s trumpet. This reveals the true hope of the feast: not merely tradition, but the Blessed Hope of Messiah’s return, which comforts and strengthens believers to await Him with faith and joy.

Welcome to Messianic Viewpoint! This TV program falls under the umbrella of Beth Ariel Congregation in Montreal, Canada. We recognize Israel in the plan of God, defending the biblical position that God is not through dealing with her, nor are His promises to her yet fully fulfilled. In these last days there is a great need for Jewish outreach. We pray that both Jew and Gentile would be blessed through this teaching ministry.
