Meta Church NYC

Your identity is an integral part of who you are, woven into the very fabric of your being. It informs your view of yourself, dictates what you do, and even defines who you are. Sometimes this can be a good thing, other times it can have devastating consequences.

That's why God actually offers a BETTER identity. One that is solid, immovable, and significantly more secure than the identities we've carried with us our entire lives. This new identity is found in the person of Jesus Christ, and when you learn to walk fully in it, it radically transforms who you are, who you become, and what you do!

The early followers of Jesus were simply known as "those who followed the way." But it was this "way" that would go on to change and transform the world we live in.

In this new series from Meta Church – The Way of Jesus – Pastors Ricky and Krista Ortiz lead us back to our roots of understanding who we are in Christ, what it means to become like Christ, and how we can live our lives like Christ in the world around us.

God has more for you than what you hope for. Your hope is not just about what you receive, but the transformation God wants to produce in you!

How can you hope when the provision hasn't come through? How can you hope when your loved one isn't getting better? How do you keep hoping when you're single and feel all alone? How is it possible to continue in hope when everyone else's prayers are answered and you feel like you've been overlooked or passed over?

In Part 2 of our HOPE series, Pastor Ricky Ortiz reveals some key insights to knowing how to hope even when all hope seems lost.

Each of us has been placed and positioned where you are by God for a reason, but so long as you're concerned about the past or the future you will miss out on the power of the present.

If we're ever going to advance the Kingdom of God the way God intends for us, then we're going to have to "step into the flows" He's designated that will cultivate tenacity within us and empower us to move things forward.

The Christian faith ought to be marked by movement, progress, and possibility. In a lot of ways, it should look like a stream that's advancing and moving forward, not a lake that sits idle.
