At what point do you hire an intern?

This week, the guys interviewed for an intern and think they found the perfect fit.

We sit down with Lane Kawaoka, a civil/industrial engineer turned passive income mastermind who currently owns 6,000 rental properties, and he teaches us how he started doing passive real estate investing.

Lane deep dives into his story of how he transitioned to the passive investing world plus the initial challenges and learning curve that he had in real estate investing. He also shares key metrics to follow, the system that he uses, syndication, and using money and savings then playing offense with it.

Further, he reveals how he lost money when he had deals with bad people. He also talks about diversifying, his grinder mentality, and expected return of investment for passive investors as opposed to general partners.

Lane also provides an argument regarding the institutionalization of using blockchain technology in real estate investing. He also explains the pros and cons of this setup.
