My friend, and sister to my monogamous(or else!)partner charlie, Laura Kessenich is with me this week to talk about relationships and what defines them. She identifies as polyamorous and I'm the queen of the one on ones in all relationships romantic or otherwise,but we find we have a lot more in common in terms of priorities in said relationships than one might think.

My middle school bestie, Maayan Laufer and I plunge in to our financial lives in a more meta(fiz)way than the IRS. We discuss our consumerism, materialism, and the deeper reasons why we splurge or skimp,save or spend,and then we GTFO!

Charlie is back this week to discuss labels. Are they helpful warnings, snap judgements, lazy compartmentalizing...or what even? We apply these questions to relationships (romantic,and otherwise), subculture, demeanor, mental health and so on;we also have to hash out this Blac Chyna Rob Kardashian thing, because I have a label or two for them!

On this weeks episode I have enlisted my good friend Isa to help hash out our relationship with nudity. We explore the social and cultural norms,somewhat internationally(Isa is from Portugal),and within our specific upbringing. We get to the bottom of the 'free the nip' ambivalence we are feeling,the radicalization/sexualization of nudity in America,versus the,perhaps, practical casual nudity we may have experienced outside of the country....oh and we talk Jay-Z's album drop too. Whats more American? Happy 4th!

This weeks guest Ana, and I try to unpack all our feels about cultural appropriation,and boy is it a Russian doll of thoughts. We may raise more questions than we answer, but thats what you get when you go totes meta on cultural appropes.
