Metal On Loud's Take One Podcast

Now here's a band I used to listen to *a lot* in my younger years. Downset at the bottom! On June 3rd, 2022 we spoke with Downset's Rogelio Lozano about the new album 'Maintain', and the life of musicians with a day job.

On January 11th, we welcomed Anabelle Iratni back to our podcast, this time together with Charles Edward Alexander Hedger (of Mayhem fame) to talk about their amazingly haunting VEILE project and its latest release, the GHOST SONATA EP.

All the way back on November 18th, 2021 (we know, we know, apologies for the apocalypse backlog!) we sat down for a second talk with the guys from IN MOURNING, who then had just released their latest album THE BLEEDING VEIL. We at Metal On Loud are huge fans of this vastly under-exposed band and decided it was time for an in-depth look at the amazing new material.

Back on November 30th we spoke with Andy from THERE'S A LIGHT. This highly atmospheric band is quite the speed change from our regular programming, but then again, some calm reflection might just be what we need at the end of yet another strange plague year.

And we’re back! Due to some unfortunate personal events in our team we’ve had a short break in our programming over the holidays, but we’re back in the saddle! Back on November 29th we spoke with POWER PALADIN about their amazing debut THE MAGIC OF WINDFYRE STEEL!

On November 5th we spoke with Aaron Pauley of OF MICE AND MEN about their upcoming release 'Echo'. This was a fun one -- and not just because we got interrupted by a call from their manager with some highly exciting news.

On October 12th we spoke with Markus Vanhala of OMNIUM GATHERUM about their new album "Origin", released today.

On October 10th we spoke with Kim from the band MØL about their amazing upcoming release DIORAMA.

On September 30th, 2021 we spoke with James Michael of Sixx AM about their upcoming greatest hits album, the new songs on it, and the current state of the band.
