The parable of the lost sheep is simple yet profound: lost humans need a loving, personal Savior. Jesus taught this lesson three times in succession to drive home his meaning. God deeply loves and cares personally for us as individuals. We are valuable to him and he will seek far and wide to bring us back home to him.

Blessed are they who hear and keep the word of God. The hands of God hold and break the bread of life. The crumbs from the loaf of bread, representing the word of God, fall on the people below who await it eagerly.

God gives His hand to a man of peace. God, as the Father-image with men as His children. His fellowmen look on, one holding a banner symbolizing the victory of peace. A broken sword and an olive branch also show peace.

The pure in heart are represented by a child holding a lily, a woman, and a man. The man exemplifies the strength of the pure in heart, strength in Christ. Above Christ flies a dove. From it, rays descend to form a triangle, symbolizing the Trinity.

Humanity is shown to have a dusty nature. At the top, he is shown as the dispenser of mercy and charity, shown by the blunt sword and a basket. The bee represents those tireless and active in their merciful deeds.
