In the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal and the rising reporting on other similar transgressors in Hollywood, Alyssa Milano encouraged survivors of sexual harassment or assault to use the hashtag #MeToo for solidarity. Too often the burden of such an experience falls on the victim, and no focus or accountability is truly placed on the perpetrator.
