We often see interruptions as negative. We do everything we can to avoid them, and wonder why we can't. During the holiday season, interruptions are common and unavoidable. But there are some incredible parallels to Jesus' time on Earth and how many of the miraculous things He did were in the midst of interruptions.

We all understand that a filter can make a significant difference. Whether it is the water we are drinking, or the ways we process what we are saying in a conversation, a filter is a necessity. But what happens when that filer is corrupted, or of poor quality? This is what it can look like when we try to be the filter for the things we are saying and doing, rather than applying God's filter to our decision-making.
