Thank you for tuning in to the second episode of the Mets Legends Cast, hosted as always by Rob Piersall and Mike Rosen, the co-creators of Mets Legends.
In this episode, Mike and Rob take a look around the majors at some impactful Mets Legends who are now contributing with other clubs.
Then, they talk about how Mets fans are used to the team drafting well now, it wasn't always the case, as a quick glance at their draft results in the '90s doesn't paint a particularly bright picture.
One prospect Mike and Rob focus on in particular is shortstop Ryan Jaroncyk, who was selected one pick behind Roy Halladay in the 1995 draft, but walked away from baseball forever at just 20-years-old because, well, he hated baseball.
Finally, Mike and Rob wrap up the Cast by talking about one of their favorite Mets Legends in Lastings Milledge, a.k.a. Blastings Thrilledge, who was way too cool for his time.
