Former Mets catcher Mackey Sasser joins the MetsRewind Podcast. A nine-year veteran, Sasser played five seasons in Flushing (1988-1992).

Sid Fernandez was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers and traded to the New York Mets after the 1983 season. Fernandez spent 10 years with the Mets, winning a World Series in 1986 and a division title in 1988.

Butch Huskey. Drafted by the New York Mets out of high school in the seventh round of the 1989 June MLB Draft, Huskey spent five seasons in New York (1993-1998).
