Lots of good things in this two-game set. Justin Verlander continued his hot streak while Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso had massive nights on Tuesday to propel the Mets towards victory. Carlos Rodón shut us down Wednesday though and had some tense moments with Jeff McNeil. The Nationals are up next back at home.
