Merry Christmas! Pastor Darren, Tami, and our staff look forward to spending Christmas with our church family every year. As we begin to plan for Christmas we seek God on how He wants us to celebrate. For several years He’s led for plain and simple planning. So, this year we are keeping it plain and simple! This Christmas we desire for you to spend time loving people, strengthening your families and transforming your city.
For this reason we present to you this devotional book. Twenty-five days of plain and simple Christmas devotions meant to keep your focus on the true meaning of Christmas. Each day will help equip you to walk in the calling and service of God while loving, building and transforming.
As followers of Christ we may sometimes find ourselves making our walk with Him complicated. In Matthew chapter six Jesus teaches us not to worry but instead to “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness….” (vs.33) Our calendars become full throughout the year with church activities, sports and kids activities, appointments, business trips, school field trips, homework, etc. Make December “less is more” by seeking Him first.
