This week, there's a reason why we hold our breath when we walk past a graveyard, and that reason is Max Payne. We review the 2008 film, which is mostly okay. 

This week, we watch and review Hitman (2007) which, while not an incredible adaptation of its source material, is honestly a good deal better than people give it credit for. 

This week, we play and review Suckerpunch's iconic-ish mascot platformer, Sly Cooper. Lots to love here, and lots to improve on. We'll definitely play some more to see how things evolve. 

This week, we jump ahead to the newest game-to-film adaptation and examine how Uncharted completely misses the mark (Wahlberg). 

It's back-to-back Japanese films in the VGCU review series, and back-to-back list-toppers as well. 2007's Yakuza film is a wonderfully campy and entertaining movie, and simply one of the best video game adaptations, period. 

This week we're chatting about Grand Theft Auto 3. Although not as strong an entry as its other PS2 counterparts, it still holds up in its own right and helped to shape the entire PS2 landscape. 

This week we watch and review the Animal Crossing movie, which was only released in Japan in 2006. And it is a treat. A real palate cleanser following dish after dish of shit. 

This week we review DOA: Dead or Alive, a 2006 film that I had no idea existed, and that grossed a whopping $7 million at the box office, prompting an extremely limited North American theatrical run before DVDs went straight to your local Blockbuster's bargain bin where they'd be picked up by horny little pervos to take home and pleasure themselves to.
