This week, I'll be doing a song cover of "Come quench this thirsting" by Cece Winans. It is a popular and seemingly Old song which I wish it blesses you.

This song is that of supplication, spiritual dependence and prayer. It shows that spiritual longing and vulnerability to God, showing that we belong to him and we are in desperately empty and lonely without him.

It showcases hunger for the things of God and a call on him to satisfy the need. In a world where nothing is guaranteed and everything is upside down, we need God and his power. It is only his presence, love, grace, guidance and holy Spirit that can help us through it all.

I hope you acknowledge him in all you do and sincerely invite him to truly and fully occupy your heart and life in order for you to be satisfied.

Hi everyone 👋🤗 welcome to HiveOpenmic Week 231 with the theme **"Afritunes"** I am @mhizerbee and I trust you all are doing good 😊

For this week, I will be doing a song cover of **"Because he lives"** by **Sinach** I hope you have fun and enjoy my presentation.

*Afritunes* is just or it has to do with songs in Africa, that is African songs and just as I am an African lady with lots of African songs in my head I decided to sing this song.

It's a known song and it is popular as well. It's easy to comprehend and sing. The song emphasizes on the wonderful work of christ on the cross for me and you.

Christ died in the cross and he paid the price for me and you. He took all the shame, pain, guilt and suffering just for the sake of me and you.

Everything he experienced and passed through on the cross was so that we might not pass through them. That was an unconditional love right there.

That is why because he (God) lives, we can live and have no fear of what tomorrow might bring. Because he lives, you and I can face tomorrow and despite the hardship we will make it through.

I'll be doing a song cover of **Ed Sheeran's Photograph** and I hope you enjoy my presentation.

Photograph is a picture carrying or portraying memories of loved ones, friends, besties and so on. It has a way of reminding people what transpired and everything that happened the day the picture was taken.

Photograph by Ed Sheeran is a love song and I love listening to it. The song explores and tells us how **love** is strong and powerful including the memories that comes with it.

Despite the fact that **love** is a beautiful thing, it brings Joy and as well pain. Ed Sheeran in his song *'Photograph'* reminisces on the beautiful moments with his love and also kept their love in a *'photograph'* as a way of reminding or remembering the memories they shared together.

Going through the entries for this week, I have enjoyed all of them and I'm glad because I was blessed. It has been a hectic week and month but I thank God for his grace so far. We have just concluded our youth conference which has been our routine annually.

We had people from far and near, inside and outside the states. Lives were touched and it was an awesome moment with God.

Here's me thanking God for the success of the program and for sustenance. Despite the economy of Nigeria, God has been faithful and he has been providing and taking care of me and my family.
