Technology around water use and irrigation continues to evolve and in this episode, we caught up with Leon Power who with his wife Laura Oeheme founded Nanobubble Agritech. Nanobubble technology is an invention for transferring gas to water with the benefit being the ability to supersaturate the water so it can hold levels of gas up to six times greater than previously attainable! How does it work? how can it be added to an irrigation system? and what are the challenges? take a listen and find out!

Within varying farming systems there are always different ways to do things and it is interesting to gain insight on these, especially from those farming outside of NZ. Recently we spoke with Seamus Quigley who is a dairy farmer in Ireland. Although the conversation was initially about having cattle in barns we also had some great discussions around farming in Ireland and how this compares to New Zealand. But, taking the step to outlay time and money into new technologies is a big decision in managing a farm system in the changing environment we work in today.
