M.I.A. Radio

On this episode, we recap our entire 4th of July weekend all the way from Wednesday to Sunday. We talk about the evolution of the Brunch/Day parties in Miami and of course answer some IG questions. Since we had a crazy long week we decided to call up some help from our good friend @djchizzle who delivered us a super dope live mix from his set at @wallmiami this week for #favelaBeach Swim Week party. He switches it up and goes deep with the Brazilian Baile Funk Carribean and Dembow vibes for the entire mix!

We go live and direct from Wood Tavern for a special July 4th BBQ. We had a great time with everyone who came out and supported! We were able to record some of what went down at the event from the Dominoes tournament to a dope vibey set by @djka5 all the way to the Caja China provided by @titosvodka with the fire Pan Con Lechon by @chefbillyg! (P.S. sorry for the audio quality. This is raw and uncut)

KA5 is finally back from his Eurotrip! We catch up on his travels in Europe and talk about the difference in the music scene out there as well as the gigs he was able to play. We speak on how latin and reggaeton music has influenced clubs around the world. We also speak on the confusion from @djcity's recent post where some "upset" Wizkid fans commented, confusing KA5 for @ciphasounds. Lastly, we discuss our event going down next week at @woodTavern on 4th of July!!

Live mix from KA5 at SWAG in IBIZA, SPAIN! This mix was recorded in the latter half of the set.

We go live and direct from Blackbird for @djzea's birthday celebration last night! Good times with the #MediaNoche and @blackbirdordinary fam as you can definitely hear on this week's episode with FULL live audio. Thank you to everyone who came out! (P.S. pardon the audio quality for a portion of the mix)

On this episode, we sit down with one of Miami's busiest DJs; @djdonhot. Don takes us back to his early beginning as a DJ and his Jamaican influences. We discuss his break into the South Beach circuit as well as how he was able to maneuver his career in a cutthroat market. He also explains his perspective on technical DJ's vs. the art of rocking a party. We speak on social media and life inside and outside of DJing.

Don Hot shares his live set from a wild night at LIV on Memorial Weekend in South Beach with special guest Diddy in the building.

We decided to switch up and give ourselves a little challenge in honor of the NBA Finals! We served up two fresh mixes with music inspired by both regions. And no, it's not all Drake and E-40....@djka5 takes the Bay Area and @djzea goes full-on Canadian! We had lots of fun putting these together, hope you enjoy!

On this episode, we talk new laptops, Serato issues, remaking records, songs that never made it, Dreams & Nightmare, Memorial Day Weekend, and a P.S.A. from KA5. Plus two completely different mixes of music you'd probably never heard in the club all in between.

BACK 2 BACK MIXES with DJ KA5 serving up a straight rock mix and DJ ZEA providing the old school hip-hop vibes. Press play and enjoy all the way through!
