Hello and welcome to this week’s episode of the Mic the Gardener - Gardening Podcast.
This week I’m delighted to say my guest is award-winning, organic gardener and lecturer Val Bourne. I was lucky enough to be invited to Val's beautiful Spring Cottage garden, high above Bourton-on-the-Water a few weeks ago to chat to her about her career, her garden, her gardening philosophies, her ‘best-beloved’ Joe and much, much more.
Val is a lifelong, hands-on organic garden with a passion for plant. She writes for many publications including the Daily Telegraph, judges RHS floral and dahlia trials, lectures widely and writes excellent books with an organic theme, and always everything enthusiastically.
You can find out more about Val by heading to her website https://www.valbourne.co.uk/home.
And to view some pictures of Val‘s garden click this link - https://www.instagram.com/p/CimYhcJKaLm/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
You can find out more about me and my own garden by following me on Instagram where you'll find me under @mike_thegardener.
And if you want more information about the podcast including sneak previews and exclusive pictures head to @mic.thegardenerpodcast. If you haven't already, please subscribe/follow as there is still lots more to come.
And, if you're able, why not leave a review with your preferred podcast provider.
Thank you and see you next week.
