This interview was recorded the day before Bria Sandifer officially committed to play college volleyball at William Penn, the next leg of an historic journey. Bria was a member of the first North St. Paul team to reach the class AAA state tournament, earning a bronze medal. Thanks to her family connections, you could consider her an "honorary graduate" of Minnehaha Academy too. We explore all of that in this episode!

Whether or not there is a basketball season, Ivane Tensaie will forever hold a spot in Concordia Academy girls basketball history. Last season, she passed the school record for most career points and was a member of the first Beacons girls basketball team to reach the state tournament. Mallory Heyer of Chaska and Nia Holloway of Eden Prairie are both juniors who met as opponents in high school and club basketball games. Within days of each other, the two basketball standouts announced their verbal commitment to the Minnesota Golden Gophers. However, the two didn't know each other well outside of their section rivalry, so we decided to change that by inviting them both to share their story. Spoiler alert...they both love sweets!
