After 23 weeks, Jake and I are comfortable that we've sufficiently (debatable) taught everybody in the Great Southern how to properly "adult". 

So to finish off, Jake has a gripe about a poor adulting performance from a veteran of the "adulting" game.

We've become accustommed to him writing brilliant sporting poetry but Mick Colliss has cast that aside briefly to commemorate the 100th anniversary of The Battle of the Somme.

It is one of the bloodiest battles in human history with more than one million men killed or wounded.

Mick chatted to us on Wake Up this morning about the inspiration and logistics behind his latest poem: Remembering the Somme.

Jake happened to see a man riding a Harley Davidson whilst also wearing a green mohawk promting him to reflect on a perk of adulthood; you can make what ever decisions you like. Although some are perhaps regrettable...

Last Friday, Jake hailed a Harley-Davidson rider's embracing of adulthood and decision making as he paraded a fluro green helmet with a fluro green mohawk which was "flailing in the wind". 

Dean had a final joke to share with us before a two week break (thank heavens!) and it was as "bad" as ever.
