To coincide with the real life Presidential election, Michael teams up with Big Honkin' Steve for a two part episode dedicated to the election and eventual downfall of President Lex Luthor. In this second part Mike and Steve finish off their discussion and take a moment to mark a real life important event in American history.

Michael welcomes yet another guest host this week and the second one to come from the Spider-Man Crawlspace. Kevin Cushing joins Michael to talk about Green Lantern and they do. They also talk about a thousand other things, but that's pretty much they way things work on this show.

The third installment is here and Michael is somewhat sad that it is over because he had so much fun recording with Big Honkin' Steve. This week Michael and Steve finally (as this is the first topic the two ever kicked around to discuss) get to hash it out over Smallville. That eats up a lot of the episode. Towards the end we talk comics again and Steve makes Michael laugh. A lot.

The second part of Michael's discussion with Big Honkin' Steve begins with an announcment about some changes happening to the Views feed. After that it's a pretty Superman heavy episode as Michael and Steve discuss Superman Returns. For nearly an hour.

This week begins a three part conversation with the host of Geek Out Loud, the writer of Geek Out Online and the co-host of Starkville's House of El and the Skynext Podcast himself Big Honkin' Steve. Michae is really excited about this one as he and Steve have been trying to do an episode together for quite some time. In this first installment they kiss each other's behinds for a bit before launching into a variety of subjects. These three episodes of Views will be a rare safe place for you to geek out.

This week Michael welcomes his friend Elizabeth to the show to discuss feminism in comic books and comic book fandom. After Elizabeth discusses what drew her to comics (hint; Godzilla and Transformers) they get to the heart of the matter. This is definitely not a typical episode but it is thought provoking and hopefully entertaining.

This year Michael is joined by his semi-regular co-host Shag and they begin their discussion of how it all went down in 2008. Welcome to the extra-sized episode fifty of Views From The Longbox. Michael had a lot of "anniversary issue" formats to choose from and goes with the old looking at the past before moving forward idea. Michael goes over some of his earliest comic purchases, when he became a collecter, when he became and addict and asks if it is possible for him to ever stop collecting comics.
