In Mark 10:46-52 we read the story of Bartimaeus, a man who was blind from birth. Bartimaeus finds himself in Jericho at the same time as the Jesus, and he has the confidence and faith to cry out to Jesus at great risk of losing his position at the Jericho gate.

The story of Bartimaeus and the faith he showed presents lessons for us as Christian’s and provides great comfort knowing that God hears our cries.
