Michael Wolf’s nephew was killed in the 2012 Benghazi attacks on American facilities in Libya. In that attack, the US lost Ambassador Christopher Stevens, along with Navy SEALs Ty Woods and Glen Doherty. Unhappy with the results of several investigations and the actions of the US government, Michael decided to do something about it and sparked an investigation. Along with former US representative Frank Wolf, they established a select committee to investigate and report on the attack.
