Tonights Sleep Story is a simple no plot follow of a New York City taxi driver called Lenny

Set on a Rainy New York City evening, as the rain falls down on the roof of the car, we listen as he finishes the last hour of his shift and some of the passengers he picks up and drops off

Our sleep story takes us across the Brooklyn Bridge into Manhattan, driving past the city's most famous streets and landmarks to pick up his final passengers of the night; a nurse finishing her shift, a couple rushing to catch curtain on Broadway, a young man heading to a late bar, and a waitress closing out her tables.

There's no plot to follow, just the simple observations of a cab driver doing his final fares in a city he knows so well, before retiring to sleep

Set in a candlelit watchmaker's workshop, this relaxing historical sleep history story follows one craftsman through an unhurried evening at his bench as he has 3 more watches to repair

Hey Listener,

Tonight is a space sleep story about Voyager 1 and its incredible infinite journey, the most distant object we have ever made, drifting out through deep space.

We'll follow the story of a single small craft from the warm day it left Earth back in 1977, past the great storms of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn, out across the edge of the solar system and into the space between the stars, and on toward the distant places the dark may carry it over the next forty thousand years.

In this sleep story with rain sounds, we're spending a stormy night in a cozy tree house.

We're imagining we've escaped to a country house for the night and it has a wonderful tree house at the back of the garden.

We start off making our favourite hot drink before heading outside with a blanket, some books and magazines and some intrigue as to what might be left in the tree house from people who've been there before

Hey ListenerTonights Sleep Story is with rain sounds and set in the actual rainiest place on earth, Mawsynram in India

We'll take a cozy and relaxing walk through a Khasi village deep in the hills of northeast India.

The rain has not stopped for days, and it will not stop tonight.

We'll venture past wooden huts with lantern light spilling onto wet stone.

Head across a bamboo bridge over a fast brown stream.

Through narrow lanes where smoke from kerosene stoves hangs in the wet air.

Down to the rice paddies, where the rain falls on still water.

Distant thunder rolls through the hills.

Nothing happens. There's no plot or drama.

Just the rain, the village, and the dark before arriving back at our own hut and listening to the rain and thunder

Hey Listener,

Tonight's Sleep Story takes us back to Pompeii, autumn AD 72 and a quiet Roman town settling down for the night.

Its raining and there's a gentle rumble from the storm in the background.

We follow a bathhouse attendant through his nightly routine as he closes up his small neighbourhood bathhouse.

The last bathers have gone, a light rain is falling on the basalt streets outside, and the steam in the caldarium is slowly thinning.

We'll move through each room with him, sweeping the changing room, snuffing the oil lamps, banking the furnace beneath the tiled floors, feeding the donkey out the back, and finally climb the ladder to his small room above where a wool blanket and a cup of watered wine are waiting.

No plot. No drama.

Just the slow rhythm of a man closing up his world for the night, with gentle rain sounds, the ticking of cooling stone, and the warmth of the hypocaust drifting up through the floorboards.

There's a few immersive sounds added at certain points too

A calming bedtime history story, human narrated, no AI voices.

The mechanism is running, the beam is turning, and outside the Atlantic is pressing hard against the granite walls.We'll listen as he moves through the lantern room, down the spiral stairs, and into his quarters where the coal stove is going, the copper kettle is on and the rain steady on the seaward wall.

Theres no plot and no drama. Just a real human narrator, a Victorian lighthouse, and the sound of the storm outside.Rain and sea sounds continue after the story ends.
