Michelle Iglesias began her painting journey in 2004 after being diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 31, which lead her to discovering the therapeutic value of creating art. She has since been exhibiting her paintings nationally and continues to develop her inherent skills in order to produce art of the finest quality. Much of her work consists of natural elements, including water and nature. She specializes in acrylic and oil paintings on canvas, with inspirations coming from nature, dimensions, and individuals struck by cancer. Michelle’s paintings invite viewer involvement and have been described as profound, reflective, symbolic images of an uncompromising realm.
