We all love the presence of Jesus. We talk about it a lot, we pray for it to come, but is it the ultimate goal for the Christ centered life or is there more? In this episode from the Intimacy with God series Michelle provokes with the reality that there is more to Jesus and for us in Him than simply His presence. How just because you know what it is like to be in someone's presence doesn't mean that you intimately know them; and it is the same way with Jesus.
Do you struggle with the truth that we are dark but lovely. Have you become more and more aware of your own sin or weakness over the past season with God? Michelle encourages us that this is the Lord revealing our darkness, and how we need to first not hide from the fact that we are dark. From that place of humility and honesty we then can hear Jesus say over us "yet you are lovely". This is the reality that we are to live in with Jesus.
Do you desire to increase in intimacy with God but don't know what that will necessarily look like or how to practically grow in intimacy with Jesus.
